WE’RE HIRING A POSTDOC!

Want an exciting materials chemistry research experience? Know someone who does? The Irvin Research Group at Texas State University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join us to make advances in electroactive polymer nanocomposites. We’re looking for someone with experience in organic synthesis and characterization, especially in the area of conjugated organic heterocycles. Experience with electrochemistry and/or electrospinning would be a bonus. The postdoc will get to work with a group of doctoral, masters, and undergraduate researchers in chemistry, materials science, biochemistry, and biology. They’ll do their own experiments, help students with theirs, publish papers, present their research at national conferences, and write proposals. Interested candidates should email Dr. Irvin at ji12@txstate.edu.

STUDENT RESEARCHERS

Motivated students seeking B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees at Texas State with an interest in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry, and/or materials science are encouraged to apply. Please contact Dr. Irvin at ji12@txstate.edu for more information.
